In short

This website has no forms, asks for no registration, uses no tracking or advertising cookies and sends nothing to third parties (only a technical cookie if you choose to see the mobile or desktop version; this is explained on the cookies page). It has its own anonymous visit statistics, which you can switch off, to learn what people find interesting on the website. And if you write to us or call us, we use what you tell us only to reply to you.

What data is processed and why

Technical visit data. When the website loads, the server automatically logs your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time. This is needed for the website to work and to detect abuse or attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Visit statistics. To improve the website and the bar's service we count, in aggregate, which pages and sections are viewed, for how long, from what type of device, in which language, from which website or campaign people arrive, which drinks are searched for in the menu (only the word, and only if it finds a drink), whether the mobile or desktop version is viewed and which buttons are used (call, directions, menu, social media). Your IP address is used on the spot to work out your approximate country and an anonymous code that changes every day, and the IP is then discarded without being stored; so we cannot know who you are or follow you from one day to the next. Nothing is installed on your device, no cookies are used and the data never leaves our server. If your browser asks not to be tracked (Global Privacy Control or "Do Not Track"), your visit is not counted; you can also switch the statistics off on the cookies page. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used in order to improve it (art. 6.1.f GDPR). The country is obtained with the IP Geolocation by DB-IP database (CC BY 4.0 licence), installed on our server.
Contact. If you call us, write to us or send us a message on social media, we will use your name, your phone number or email and what you tell us only to reply to you. Legal basis: your consent when contacting us and, if you ask for something, the pre-contractual steps you request (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).

No automated decisions are made and no profiles are built with your data.

How long it is kept

Server technical logs: the period set by the hosting provider, normally no more than 12 months.
Visit statistics: 13 months, so that each month can be compared with the same month of the previous year. After that they are deleted automatically.
Contact data: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, after that, whatever the law requires.

Who else receives the data

Web hosting provider: Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, European Union), which processes the technical logs on behalf of the controller.

The website loads nothing from third-party servers when you open it: fonts, images and scripts are served from our own hosting. Data is not sold or passed on to anyone else, except where required by law.

Your rights

You may at any time ask to access your data, rectify it, erase it, object to its processing, restrict it or take it to another controller (portability). Write to trripeadmin@gmail.com or send a letter to the registered address or the premises, stating which right you wish to exercise. We will reply within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos) at www.aepd.es.

Links to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, TripAdvisor or Restaurant Guru take you to services that process your data under their own privacy policies, which we recommend you read.

Changes

If the website starts processing other data (for example, a booking form), this policy will be updated before it does so.
